Pat Harper

June 18 1950- February 24 2022

Pat Harper participated in very successful choirs at a young age in Saskatchewan before embracing the world of Sweet Adelines. She joined Sweet Adelines, Lion’s Gate Chorus as a Lead May 01, 1978. During her 25 years with LGC, she served as President, other committees and engaged in sewing costumes … a most willing volunteer.

Pat joined Peace Arch Chorus 1996/7 where, over 26 years, she served as Lead Section Leader; Co-Director with Kitty All with whom she attained her DCP; Assistant Director for many years; Team Leader & other team positions. As well, she designed and sewed many of PAC's costumes.

Pat was the anchor and rock of the PAC - a very kind and generous soul beneath a matter-of-fact get-things-done assertiveness, always quick to laugh, and a willing listener when any member had a story that needed to be heard.

Pat passed away in February 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. She is dearly missed as a singer & friend.
